We got these at a great price to go in a new-to-us Jeep and so far we’ve been happy with them. Aesthetically they’re just very basic rubber mats with some circular raised spots. They’re not as thick and heavy duty feeling as some of the ones I’ve gotten at Costco or auto stores in the past but they also cost 1/3 the price so I can’t really complain. For perspective, I think they’re thin enough that if you hit them the wrong way with a stiletto heel they could end up with a hole in them, but a rock stuck in the bottom of a shoe shouldn’t cause any problems. Like a few other reviewers mentioned the smell was very potent and rubbery. Fortunately they came on a little plastic hanger so we just hung them on a nail on the porch for four days and they off gassed a bit and weren’t so offensive. If the car gets hot it’ll still smell a little rubbery inside but it’s not terrible. They’ll be perfect for river trips and mobbing around this summer and if they don’t end up lasting ages they’re low priced enough it wouldn’t be a big deal to replace them.
