The Bose CineMate 10 is extremely easy to install and configure. The speaker bar is reasonably unobtrusive, the subwoofer/Acoustimass unit fits nicely next to television table without consuming much space. I connected the digital optical audio interface from the television unit and attached an Apple Airport Express base station’s analog audio output. This produces exactly what I wanted: I can stream music from iPhone, iPad, or Mac without having to have the television set on and it automatically plays.. And when I have no other audio playing and turn on the television, it just works. Perfect! The CineMate 10 remote is utterly simple and exactly what I wanted. Power, Sound up/down, and Mute … nothing else is needed. The bass control on the back of the subwoofer is a little hard to reach, but you only need to set it once. Overall, the system works just as I wanted, makes superb, rich sound, and simplifies everything. If your needs are simple like mine, you can’t go wrong with it.
