Get This Deal
This is the second Inspiron 3185 laptop I’ve owned. The first one lasted exactly 59 days before the battery malfunctioned and failed. The store where I purchased it was nice enough to replace it with a new one, but this one seems to be doing the same thing – the bottom of the laptop (where the battery is located) gets extremely HOT less than 5 minutes after it’s powered on, so I don’t have much hope that this one is going to have a long life either. Propping it up on something so that air can flow under the laptop while I’m using it seems to help, but it still warm to the touch no matter what I do. This seemed like such a perfect solution to my needs and I am so disappointed.
