This was an upgrade from an older Arcitec model that finally died after many years. The technology does not seem to have changed (which is not a bad thing). The shaving head is larger – which I like. I like the pop open head for cleaning.. These are all good things. There are a few changes that I don’t like: the trimmer is a separate device – so I will never use it. The “turbo” does not appear to do anything – so I will never use it. There is no stand provided to rest the shaver in (I use the stand from my older one). When charged you can see approximately how much charge is left – the old model told you how many minutes were left (and the older model held a longer charge). BUT none of these things are deal breakers because ultimately it is about the shave and that is the best part – it is a good razor that gives a good shave – at a decent price.
