This was just what I wanted for my hall entryway. I live an apartment and there is not very much space at the front door. As soon as you walk in there is a closet, but it is awkward to grab you shoes out of it, put them on while standing and get out of the door (especially if there are multiple people coming/going). I wanted a narrow bench that wouldn’t take up too much space, but provide enough of a spot to sit down to put on or take off shoes as well as set stuff when you come in or are about to leave. I live in a small space so any additional option for storage is a must and I like the way this one has areas for taller items like boots and shorter items that I could put my normal shoes. It was very easy to install it fits perfectly in the hallway without being in the way.
